We are hiring for a 3GIS OSP Fiber Designer:

RMWT is looking for a few individuals to join our 3GIS OSP Fiber Design team.

Must possess strong critical thinking skills, pay attention to detail, are self-starters, have the ability to work independently and with moderate supervision, have the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and can work as a part of the team.

Location: In office/remote.

Wage: Unit base position.

General Duties /Key Responsibilities:
• Provides support to engineering personnel by utilizing GIS software to create outside plant engineering project deliverables
• Ability to read as-builts, construction drawings, and utility records.
• Examine project documentation and update outside plant records in GIS.
• Experience with 3gis or other design system to create fiber designs including feeder and distribution.
• Design fiber to the home, backhaul/transport fiber routes, MDU, distribution/feeder design using provided 3gis design software.
• Perform Fiber splicing on the fiber optic network via design software to ensure connectivity across fibers for the fiber splicing teams in the field.
• Any/All duties related to fiber-optic network designs that may be required for projects.

Required Experience:
• 1 or more years of experience with Fiber Design Software:
• 3GIS, QGIS, ArcMap, ArcPro, ARCGIS, or other GIS based systems (Preference will be placed on direct 3GIS experience).
