We'd like to give a huge shoutout to Devon Coleman for completing his apprenticeship! Over the last 4 years, Devon has been working here and completed the Machine Tool Technician program at Fox Valley Technical College. After 8,320 hours of experience, he has rightfully earned his Journeyman Machinist title. Congrats Devon!

At Innovative Machining, we believe in giving back to the community while showcasing the talents of our team. Recently, Kyle Palmer, one of our CNC Machinists, took on a special community project close to his heart.

An avid BMX enthusiast, Kyle has been crafting medals for his local BMX track's kids racing program (Winnebagoland BMX). Using our Doosan Puma 2600 SY-II lathe and an older Proto-Trak knee mill, he transformed donated materials into awards for young riders. We're proud of Kyle's dedication, craftsmanship, and community support. Keep up the great work, Kyle!

We hope that everyone had a fun and safe holiday weekend! Prior to the weekend, we kicked off the end of the week last Thursday with an employee sponsored cookout. Devin, one of our CNC machinists here, brought in his smoker and cooked up some amazing smoked chicken for the Innovative crew! Thanks for all that you do, Devin!

Experience/Skill Requirements:
*1-3 years of relevant experience in a metal manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required. We do offer strong continuous on the job training.
*Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
*Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and cutting parameters.
*Familiarity with CNC controls and programming.
*Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes

Hours:
*2nd Shift: (3/12's), Monday-Wednesday, 3 pm to 3 am.
*Must be able to train on 1st shift for two weeks. (4/10's) Monday-Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm.
*2nd Shift: Work 36 hours and get paid for 40.

Pay Rate:
*$22/hr. - $34.00/hr., base pay will be determined by years of experience.
*$2nd Shift:$1.50/hr. shift premium.
*Overtime is available depending on work load.

Innovative Machining is excited to announce the addition of 2 new autonomous CNC machining cells! This marks our first major push into high volume, robotic production within our facility. Each cell will be equipped with a Mazak HCN 5000/50 along with a Fanuc robot to load and unload parts to and from the horizontal machining center and the parts carousel. Many thanks to our friends at Machinery Systems, Inc. and CNC Solutions for all the help thus far on this project! We can't wait to see these 2 cells come to life in the future.

Innovative Machining is pumped to announce that we are expanding our Mazak Palletech system with the addition of a new machining center! Thanks to our friends at Machinery Systems, Inc., we will be adding another Mazak HCN-6800 NEO along with 10 additional pallets and 160 tool magazine. This new addition will bring our total Palletech system to 4 horizontal machining centers, 30 pallets, and the capability to host 720 tools all throughout.
