Basic Responsibilities:

•Operate tube forming equipment: reducing tube size and straightening tube on specialized machines.

•Pull stainless steel tubing, wire and bar products per work order instructions. Verify dimensions, quantity and tag # of product---attention to detail is very important.

•Count/label and load material into shipping boxes/tubes. Requires occasional lifting of 50 #+ (with assistance where appropriate).
•Assist with loading and unloading of truck deliveries
•Operate tube cutting machinery (Electrical Discharge Machining---computer controlled). Adjust machine parameters according to instructions to produce in specification parts.

Qualities we're looking for:

•Positive, can-do attitude. It’s non-negotiable. Drama queens are for Broadway shows.
•Solid work ethic---nothing "below" him or her.
•Excellent attention to detail. Quality minded---notice the small things. A quality background can be very helpful. This is one of our positions that requires the most attention to detail.
•Dexterity/hand skills.
•Familiarity with computers to scan barcodes on completed work tickets, look up records if needed and update electronic inventory databases.
•Ability to apply a concept learned on one job to other, slightly different jobs down the road. Good problem solving aptitude.

About the position:

•Flexible hours (after training), anywhere from 7A to 6P.
•Expectation is 45-50 hours a week (OT included). $15-19/hour depending on experience.
•Eligible for 16 days of PTO plus 10 paid holidays, health insurance through Aetna and significant annual bonus program.
•We're looking for a long term hire.
•Experience operating equipment described above is not required provided you have everything under “Qualities we’re looking for”

Primary responsibilities include:

Carefully packing and boxing packages for shipment via UPS, Fedex or other carriers. Products vary widely, so candidate must be able to make decisions on best packing method to ensure safe transport of product.

Adhering to documentation and quality requirements.

Assist with loading and unloading of materials as well as shop organization.

Candidate must:

Have exceptional work ethic.

Have extraordinary attention to detail and organization. Often this person is the last person to see the product before it is shipped out. Accuracy is essential.

Work well in fast paced environment.

Be well organized

Be able to work primarily on his/her feet and be capable of lifting up to 50 #.

Experience with UPS World Ship, Fedex Shipping system or other similar computer based shipment software highly preferred.

Experience with business ERP systems including but not limited to Sage, SAP, Oracle etc. highly preferred

Exceptional work ethic is a requirement. Individuals with prior shipping / logistics experience are preferred. Candidate must work well with numbers and simple calculations, and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Candidate must work well with others, yet be able to function independently most of the time.

Position is Full Time 45/hours/week (OT included), Start time 7AM preferred but negotiable to accommodate other schedules. 5 days a week. $14-17 to start depending on experience level. Paid vacation, health insurance with employee contribution as well as participation in annual bonus program included.

Material Handler & Machine Operator
Basic Responsibilities:

•Assist with loading and unloading of truck deliveries
•Operate tube cutting machinery (Electrical Discharge Machining---computer controlled). Adjust machine parameters according to instructions to produce in specification parts.
•Clean assemblies and stainless steel tubular parts in warm ultrasonic bath.
•Inspect parts for sufficient cleanliness and dry appropriately.
•Operate parts tumbler to break part edges, if required.
•Wipe down 5 or 10' lengths of stainless steel tube with Isopropyl Alcohol.
•If required, treat certain parts in a mild acid bath to improve the surface.
