Little bit more done on the fire wall of this k10.

The driver side was a little more involved. We deleted the lower channel that is just terrible to look at. Also deleted that hideous brace behind the brake booster on these trucks. So in order to keep that area rigid for the brake booster and steering column, we cut a 1/8 plate to tuck behind the sheet metal. The 18 gauge is cut and fit now but I didnt get a picture of it 🤦‍♂️

Finally was able to get started on the firewall of this K10

Going to get the driver side to this point as well today or tomorrow

Been able to get some more done on the Z28

6.2 is installed for the final time.

Brake lines ran and looking pretty.

We ran an electric pressure pump for power brakes. Its tucked away up front.

Few steps away from getting the wiring started on this one

So as I mentioned before. Im terrible at taking pictures of the work we get done 🙄🙄

So here is as much of a update I have documented of the recent progress on our 51

Widened some trailer fenders and capped them on both sides creating a Actually outer wheel house, I see this part getting skipped often when tubbing these old body's.

Got the rear floor pans fit, 💎 rolled, and welded in included raising a portion of then factory drive shaft tunnel and building a matching peice for under the rear seat.

Also the notch cover in the trunk built and installed. Note the air bag access holes in the top. Gotta plan ahead for any circumstances you may run into along the road.

Fuel tank, air compressors, and air tank mounted but of course no pictures 😑
