⭐️ Congratulations to our General Manager, Daniel Wheeler, for reaching 💥 25 Years 💥 with Viking-Cives❗️

💭 Some coworkers of Dan thought we could list a few reasons why we like working with him…but we know he would hate that. 🤪
So instead of a long post … just know that in those ideas some things included:
✅ Leading by example.
✅ Caring for employees & their families.
✅ Always willing to teach others about the company and work we do.
💫 Thank You for your dedication and leadership, Dan. Congratulations on 25 Years!
🎁Dan was presented with a cash service award and gift packet.

This year, Viking-Cives Midwest was excited to welcome our Viking Families to the SEMO Family Day Football Tailgate! We had such a great time gathering together before heading in to watch SEMO take on West Florida.

It was so good to see everyone enjoying the day hanging out, playing co****le, tossing the football, and watching the kids have a blast with sack races in the grass. We even had a special appearance by none other than Rowdy himself! Everyone was given the opportunity to take a picture with him and even get his autograph which the kids loved! These are the moments that make Family Day so special. During the tailgate, every adult received a raffle ticket, giving everyone the chance to win some amazing prizes, including SEMO Football season tickets, SEMO Basketball season tickets, co****le boards, and so much more! Every kid also received a clear, stadium-approved drawstring bag filled with fun goodies like tattoos and bracelets. It was wonderful seeing all the kids enjoying their special treats throughout the day!

We would like to thank Eric Hanselman with Metal Cutters for making a generous donation towards the food for our event. As well as a big thank you to Derrick Uhrhan for volunteering his time to BBQ for everyone, and to Daniel Wheeler and Brad Uhrhan for helping prepare everything. Lastly we also want to give a special thank you to Jennifer Dyan Barnett, Makalah Evans, and Lauren Grigery Murphy for helping plan this year's event. We truly appreciate all of your time and effort in making the day such a success! Thank you to all of our Viking Families who came out and made the 3rd Annual Viking Family Day so memorable. We loved seeing everyone together and hope you all had as much fun as we did!🏈💙

📣 June 2026 National Safety Month was one to celebrate at Viking-Cives Midwest!

🦺 We kicked off the month by displaying our Safety Month banner as a reminder of our commitment to keeping safety top of mind and ensuring every employee goes home safe every day.

⚠️ Employees participated in our "Why I Work Safe" campaign, sharing photos of the people, pets, and passions that motivate them to work safely each day. The teams enjoyed getting to see employees lives outside of work.

🥾 We also introduced Safety BINGO, and the excitement was contagious! Employees stayed engaged throughout the month, eagerly checking their cards after each drawing. Congratulations to our many winners across the division, who took home cash prizes!

🧑‍🏭 Every employee received a new SAFETY-FIRST t-shirt and a summer safety bag filled with cooling towels, electrolyte packets, sunscreen, and a mosquito repellent bracelet to help them stay safe on and off the job.

🎉 At our Morley location, we held several prize giveaways, with every employee eligible to have their name entered into the drawings.

🔥 We also featured one ultimate grand prize—a Blackstone Grill! Employees with at least one year of service at Viking-Cives Midwest were entered for a chance to win. Team members with 5+ years of service earned additional entries, and those with excellent attendance received even more chances to take home the grand prize. Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and thank you to everyone for your continued commitment to working safely every day!

🍳 We wrapped up National Safety Month with a special breakfast prepared by our GM, Dan Wheeler, for the Morley team. It was a great way to thank our hardworking employees and celebrate another successful Safety Month together.

At Viking-Cives Midwest, safety isn't just a monthly focus—it's a commitment we make every day. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year's National Safety Month a success!
