Been quiet for a bit, here is where we are at with the new move to the old family farm property. Working on setting up the new shop, deciding on equipment and building size. In between that, I’ve been working on some additions to kitchen offerings, and I love this latest test.

Decided I might as well make some new kitchen knives, and started off with this awesome chef knife, shown with brass pins and walnut scales.

Getting close to launching the new products!! I design everything now in CAD, and test print the patterns on my 3D printer, also makes it great if something happens in the shop to the one I’m using, I can make a new one and never lose it.

These are tentatively called a Salt/Sugar Spoon, mini coffee spoon, spice spoon and tea spoon.

Copper sheet will be here soon, I just need to make a dishing block set for them out of hard oak, then you folks will be seeing some hammered spoons to add to your kitchens!

Early morning working on cabinets, watching the sun rise on the same mountains my family has watched since 1770, smoker warming up for chicken quarters and pork ribs, and 36 eggs in a incubator in the basement starting to pip and hatch.

All of this shows me why my ancestors served in the militia to protect our beloved and feel so blessed this morning to be building our life on the same ground and beliefs as they did.

Ok so here we go! I finally got all my expansion plans organized last night, and how do yal like these! So one big thing I know, is copper was so common in kitchens in the time when we also had clean food, and none of the chemical loaded crap that is so common now. Copper is by nature sterile, there is a reason water pipes in hospitals and doctors offices are all solid copper.

Well, I’m not judging anyone with this. But clearly, you folks don’t like the skillet ideas, but the copper ware items yal surely do want!

These are just 2 of many copper ware items I have planned for this year, and very soon my copper smithing shop will be back together!

A second was the new spoons, which I have a bunch more worked out of as well! The biggest thing you’re going to notice, is these spoons are longer and bigger than the ones I’ve made to date, these are made to remind you of grandmas spoons!
