Gabe, Elaina, and Gretta head out on a unique site survey at the lakehouse once owned by the late American author Andrew Clements, which is still cherished and maintained by his wife, Becky. The property carries a quiet sense of history, and the GND crew approaches it with the same care and craftsmanship they bring to every custom dock project.

That doesn’t stop Gretta from giving canoe-based measuring another try, though. From balancing tape measures over the water to navigating soft shoreline spots, this survey showcases the real challenges that come with designing docks on Maine’s lakes.
