Thank you to everyone who joined us at Foundry Conference Thailand 2026!

It was a great opportunity to connect with foundries and discuss the challenges they're facing, from controlling sand costs and improving casting consistency to increasing sustainability and productivity.

Every foundry is unique, but the goal is the same: reliable processes that deliver consistent, high-quality castings. That's why we enjoyed sharing how Simpson's sand preparation, cooling, testing, and reclamation solutions help customers optimize performance, reduce waste, and get more value from every ton of sand.

A special thank you to our partner, P.S STEEL Thailand, for helping make this event a success. We appreciate everyone who took the time to connect with our team, share their experiences, and explore new ways to improve their operations.

The conversations don't end here. We look forward to continuing to support foundries with proven sand technology and expertise. https://tinyurl.com/ypweskfu

Sand reclamation is more than reducing costs, it's about building a more efficient, sustainable foundry.

After replacing its thermal reclamation unit with the Simpson Pro-Claim®, Castalloy Group achieved:

- $574K in first-year savings
- Full ROI in under one year
- Reduced energy consumption
- A lower environmental footprint

It's proof that the right reclamation technology can deliver measurable results for both your operation and the environment.

Last week at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, 32 foundry professionals from 14 foundries joined FOSECO, Inductotherm, MAGMA, Saint-Gobain, and SIMPSON for two days of technical training, industry collaboration, and networking.

With 47 total attendees, the event featured five technical presentations focused on process control, defect prevention, melting practices, green sand performance, refractory selection, gating, and risering best practices.

In between sessions, attendees even had the opportunity to experience a little adrenaline of their own with Hot Laps around the Barber Motorsports track.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions, shared experiences, and industry knowledge throughout the event. It was a great example of foundry professionals coming together to learn, connect, and support one another.

Inconsistent sand can lead to variability, increased scrap, and higher material costs.

Progressive Foundry tackled this challenge by improving control over sand cooling and moisture with the Simpson Multi-Cooler®.

The outcome:
• ±2 compactability 90% of the time
• ±3 compactability up to 98% of the time
• 7% less bond used per ton of iron poured

By moving beyond temperature-based water addition to real-time moisture control, they created a more stable, repeatable sand system—even when pushing production rates.

If consistency is a challenge in your operation, this is a story worth exploring.
