Over the past several weeks, our offices participated in a DiSC Assessment workshop focused on building self-awareness, enhancing communication, and fostering collaboration to strengthen leadership skills. Most recently, the Myrtle Beach office had the opportunity to take part in this training.

The workshop provided meaningful insights, and many of us were impressed by the accuracy of the results. It was a valuable experience that encouraged thoughtful discussion and strengthened team connections.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ted Studdard with The Studdard Company for traveling from Atlanta to facilitate this workshop.

We are honored to be a part of this very important project for the City of North Myrtle Beach and it’s community and look forward to seeing it come to fruition.

🚓 🚒 Fire Station 7 & Police Substation Groundbreaking 🚒 🚓

The City of North Myrtle Beach will hold a Groundbreaking Ceremony for Fire Station 7 and Police Substation on Monday, August 25, at 1:00 PM. The ceremony will take place at the project site, located on Water Tower Road, behind the UPS facility, located at 8470 Water Tower Road.

This station represents a major investment in public safety and will enhance emergency response capabilities for the growing community. Fire Station 7 will expand the reach of the North Myrtle Beach Fire Department, improving response times in the western areas of the City. The Police Substation will provide a stronger law enforcement presence, improving community safety and accessibility for residents.

Fire Station 7, once in service, will be staffed with a Fire Engine, Ladder Truck, and Battalion Chief, as well as a second Brush Truck due to its proximity to the Ocean Bay Preserve. This will bring the daily staffing Citywide across all 6 staffed Fire Stations to 6 Engine Companies, 2 Ladder Truck Companies, 1 Heavy Rescue Company, and 2 Battalion Chiefs.

The public is invited to attend and take part in this historic moment for North Myrtle Beach. City Staff will be on-site to help direct traffic and parking for attendees.

THIS PROJECT IS NOW OPEN FOR BIDS FROM PROPERLY LICENSED GENERAL CONTRACTORS.

We are honored to have been selected for an incredible opportunity with Horry-Georgetown Technical College! The upcoming project involves the construction of a new Workforce Training Facility at their Georgetown Campus, designed to support the Boat Building and Outboard Marine Motor Technician programs.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
• SIZE: 25,000 square feet
• STRUCTURE: Conventional steel frame with masonry and metal wall panels, Load Bearing Masonry with masonry veneer and metal wall panels
• EXTERIOR FEATURES: Aluminum-framed storefront, glazed aluminum curtain wall, PVC fully adhered membrane roofing
• INTERIOR FINISHES: Wood wall paneling, carpet, porcelain tile, acoustical ceilings, epoxy flooring, paint, and graphic wall coverings
• ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS: Residential appliances, sun control devices, metal canopies, exterior screens, wood and hollow metal doors, overhead coiling doors, enclosed lamination booth, and overhead bridge crane
• SYSTEMS: Wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
