Here's one job that we're getting pretty close to finishing. These were so 1990-2000, when we had no clue about how much CSA mattered. These will be 60+ horsepower better than they were. Volume CSA is the master.
NHRA Super Stock 295/350.
Here's our process for reworking/updating
Disassemble, clean, pressure test and crack check ✅
1. Preliminary flow✅
2. Preliminary physical map and check runner CC ✅
3. Design Prototype port shape/sizing ✅
4. Physically create Prototype port ✅
5. Flow test prototype port and check runner CC ✅
6. Epoxy all ports per design ✅
7. Rough machine final ports to size and hand blend ✅
Currently
8. Hand porting and blend ports to Finalized physical map
People often wonder why Super Stock is so expensive. It explains it here.
