We just had a very last minute cancelation from an out of state group for what is one of the best weekends of fishing throughout the whole year. This weekend, we have Friday Aug 7th PM (5p-dark), Saturday Aug 8th AM (5:30a-10:30a) and PM (4p-dark), and Sunday Aug 9th AM (5:30a-10:30a). Please share and reach out to me directly. We were off fishing this last weekend to spend time with friends and family, but we still ran a charter on Friday morning. We had over 20 bites and landed 14 fish. We landed a beautiful brown trout and a trophy-size lake trout that will be getting a replica made. The fish was 25lbs and had a 26” girth. Absolute dinosaur!
Thank you to my good buddy Frank and his family for having us take you all out. Was an amazing day on the water and the fishing will be good from here on out! We have some limited spots left to wrap the summer up so please reach out soon if you want to go!

We are starting up our popular “weekday” charters for the summer. These trips go from 5pm-dark and gives our guests a chance to experience the highly sought after aggressive salmon bite as the sunset reaches the horizon.

Last night was our first one of the year and we had two young men come up from SE Indiana on a family/graduation present trip. Needless to say, they had a blast boating 6 beautiful trout and 4 nice kings to reach their limit.

The fishing is going to continue to get better and better from now thru September. Please reach out for details on these trips!

We had the privilege in joining Too Ez Sportfishing for a day on the water to support 92 for 22. Both of us were able to take 4 veterans out on each boat and give time back to some amazing men and women who have served our country. It feels absolutely amazing to give back to people who have created these opportunities and given us freedom to live the lives we are so fortunate to have. I look forward to doing more trips with such a great organization.

2026 Muskegon Salmon Assault is in the books. Team Coast Guard brought home first place in the Veterans Cup! I could not be more proud to have hosted such a great group of guys. Thank you to all of our service men and women. Without you, we would not have the opportunities in life that we have, or freedom in general. Also, thank you Harbortowne Marina, the USS Silversides, all the volunteers, all my colleague fisherman/woman who donate their time and boats, all of the sponsors/donors, and a huge thank you to the Muskegon Charter Boat Association (especially Terry Armstrong and Chas Hibbard) for all the hard work making this possible for us to do!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Scott @ Mascot Reel Service. You do not come across someone often that offers the quality of work, detail, and care that he offers. Scott has some of the highest quality reel repair, modification, and support skills you could come across along with extensive overall knowledge with Great Lakes fishing.
