Beautiful morning for one of our favorite Kansas crews! Day 1a of their two doubles had close to 30 bites, a bunch of throwback juvenile salmon, and one massive cooler. Day 1b is up next!

2026 Muskegon Salmon Assault is in the books. Team Coast Guard brought home first place in the Veterans Cup! I could not be more proud to have hosted such a great group of guys. Thank you to all of our service men and women. Without you, we would not have the opportunities in life that we have, or freedom in general. Also, thank you Harbortowne Marina, the USS Silversides, all the volunteers, all my colleague fisherman/woman who donate their time and boats, all of the sponsors/donors, and a huge thank you to the Muskegon Charter Boat Association (especially Terry Armstrong and Chas Hibbard) for all the hard work making this possible for us to do!

First trip of the year, 17-20 in 2.5 hours of fishing! Great group of guys will have some sore arms tomorrow. If you’re looking to get out, I would highly suggest doing so in the next 1-2 weeks.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Scott @ Mascot Reel Service. You do not come across someone often that offers the quality of work, detail, and care that he offers. Scott has some of the highest quality reel repair, modification, and support skills you could come across along with extensive overall knowledge with Great Lakes fishing. The ole’ girl cleans up pretty darn good! The check list is getting smaller as we get close to the start of our 2026 fishing season! I was able to close the 2025 season out a couple evenings ago on an untypical-summer like mid October evening with a great group of friends! We ran over 70 trips (as a part-time business) this year! The fishing was as good as it gets throughout the year and we are very excited to see how good 2026 looks. Thank you to all the hard work the DNR has put into bringing back our population of salmon and stabilizing the baitfish to incredibly healthy levels as well.

I want to give a special thank you to my amazing wife for supporting and being involved in one of my greatest passions.

Thank you to all the amazing captains and fisherman that we share a dock with, network with, and have such great friendships with! I am very fortunate to have such good colleagues and fisherman in our network! Love you all!

I also want to thank the amazing support and help I receive from some of my closest friends on a yearly basis to ensure our trips are not only highly successful, but also a great time for our guests.

Most importantly, I want to thank all of my customers and friends for supporting Lured In. Without you, none of this happens. I look forward to seeing everyone back out next year along with meeting more new people and forming new friendships!
