How AsphaltFusion CLEAN (100% X23) Works

Mode of action (X23): Cationic fatty amines bind to oxidized binder sites, peptize asphaltene clusters, and drop interfacial yield stress so residue releases.
Surface conditioning: Adsorbs to metal oxides and leaves a thin, hydrophobic boundary film. Fresh mix has less to grab → lasting release.
Citrus (d‑limonene) cleaners: Great solvent swelling/softening, but no persistent boundary layer— effects fade after solvent flash‑off.

Key Advantages vs. Citrus Solvents

Removes heat‑aged, highly oxidized buildup faster—layers sheet off after short dwell.
Doubles as a true release agent—monolayer film cuts re‑adhesion during reloads.
Fewer reapplications and less mechanical scraping → safer, faster cleanouts.
Packaging: 55‑gal drums, 250‑gal totes.

Pre‑Treatment (Release) — Fast SOP

1) Remove loose debris; surfaces should be dry.
2) Mist or wipe a very thin, continuous film of AF CLEAN onto contact areas.
3) Allow 5–15 min to adsorb; wipe off visible excess (aim for a monolayer).
4) Re‑treat after wash‑downs, long idle periods, or heavy abrasive service.

Cleanup — Fast SOP for Stuck Buildup

1) Knock down crust; wet residue edges with AF CLEAN.
2) 5–15 min dwell; re‑wet as layers lift.
3) Mechanical assist (plastic/wood scrapers) as needed.
4) Final wipe; optional quick re‑treat for next load (release).
