Big news from the Millies Engineering Group's Home Office! Ongoing education and professional development is key to our growth. Recently, Zoe Weeks, Designer 1, won an ASHRAE Scholarship Award!

Zoe explains the process:
"I had to write two different essays about my particular interest in HVAC and how I have participated in HVAC to advance my goals. I highlighted my current love for design work and how my internship experience is directly contributing to my goal of becoming a professional engineer once I graduate. I also had to write mini essays discussing my involvement at PNW in SWE (Society of Women Engineers) and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). I talked about my contribution to SWE as a board member and my design work in ASME's IAM3D competition project. Additionally, I had to interview an ASHRAE board member who is an industry professional. I asked about what the future of this industry looks like with AI, how important a master's is, and which industry within HVAC has the quickest growth."
