JQL Technologies Corporation, a leading manufacturer of RF microwave products, today announced the opening of its New R&D Center in EUROPE, based in France, in Greater Nantes metropolitan Area. This is a key step for JQL to extend its business within France and Europe. The R&D center will be focused on Microwave innovation for Telecommunications, Space and Defense activities. This lab is fully equipped to answer all customer needs including latest engineering software to perform all RF and mechanical simulations and test equipment like Vectorial Network Analyzer up to 94 GHz to qualify microwave products.
Following last announcement of JQL acquisition of RFS Microwave antennas, we are pleased to welcome Yoann LETESTU as R&D Director and Benoît BLED as Product Line and Project Manager.
Yoann LETESTU received the master’s degree and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing and telecommunications from the University of Rennes, France, in 2001 and 2004, respectively. He held different positions within RFS starting in 2007 as an RF engineer participating to the design of microwave antennas, before taking the Head of R&D during more than 10 years driving the developments of new microwave antennas and microwave innovation programs (E-band, Dual-band, D-band,…) and concluded being Head of global industrialization of the microwave business unit. He is the author or coauthor of several patents, conference and journal articles.
Benoît BLED received the master’s degree in risk management and industrial process from the University of Nantes, France, in 2004. He held different positions within RFS starting in 2006 as a quality engineer participating the continuous improvement and qualification of microwave antennas manufacturing processes, before taking the Head of Quality for the microwave antennas business unit during 5 years; Then, he took the Head of Product line Management for the RFS Microwave Business Unit managing business development and driving the strategy of RFS Microwave antennas portfolio.
