A New Chapter for Denray Machine: Announcing the Retirement of Dennis Rayon

After a remarkable career spanning over thirty years of innovation and leadership, Dennis Rayon, the founder and visionary behind Denray Machine, has announced his retirement to be August 2026.

Dennis’s journey in the industry began long before the first downdraft table was built. Having owned and operated his own woodworking business, he experienced firsthand the challenges of dust control and shop safety. It was this "maker’s perspective" that led him to found Denray in 1991. He didn't just want to sell machines; he wanted to solve the real-world problems he faced in his own shop. Under his guidance, Denray grew from a personal mission into a premier American manufacturer known for quality and reliability.

While Dennis is stepping back, the leadership of Denray remains in very familiar hands. We are proud to announce that Carl Casey will be leading the company forward.
Carl has worked alongside Dennis for over 20 years. He has been an integral part of Denray’s growth, mastering every facet of the design and manufacturing process. This two-decades long partnership ensures that the transition will be seamless and that the knowledge Dennis built stays within the company. Regarding the transition, Dennis shared: “I am fully confident in Carl's abilities to carry Denray into the future.”

As Dennis moves into retirement, he is ready to step away from the demands of the business to spend more time enjoying the hobbies he loves. He leaves behind a legacy of innovation that will continue to define our brand.

Denray Machine will continue to provide the same high-performance machines you trust, backed by the same commitment to excellence that Dennis fostered for over three decades.
