Juniata River Blueprint Communities are inviting the greater Juniata River region to offer their opinion on a series of standard perceptual questions about Downtown Mapleton, Mt. Union, and Shirley Township. The purpose of this survey tool is to get a better idea of how people feel about common attributes that contribute to a “sense of place” within the business district and to guide the organization in their revitalization strategies. The survey is the first step in a two year revitalization initiative in partnership with Juniata River Blueprint Communities, Pennsylvania Downtown Center, and USDA Rural Development as part of their Rural Placemaking Innovation Challenge project in Pennsylvania.

The survey will be open from November 16 through December 15, 2020. Please feel free to share and promote the survey below. We appreciate your participation in this very important survey.

The Community Tool Shed is open today!! It looks like a perfect weekend to get some gardening done. We have shovels, rakes, yard carts and much more to help you with all your gardening needs. The best part is that our equipment and tools are free to rent!! Stop on by today between 1 and 3 PM. We hope to see you there!
