We’re excited to share that one of our assemblers, Ezequiel, is a member of the Oakton College Robotics Team—and they’re doing something pretty incredible.

This May, the team is heading to Florida to compete in the 2026 NASA Lunabotics Challenge. As part of the first phase, every team had to submit a project management plan, and Oakton’s plan was ranked No. 1 by NASA, coming out on top against more than 70 universities.

Congratulations to Zeke and the entire Oakton Robotics Team on this outstanding achievement!

Gary Michalek, our founder and CEO, recently retired after 35 years of excellent leadership. We honor his legacy by retiring his GAM shirt, signed by all of us, to hang from the rafters in the factory.

Gary created a real culture of family here at GAM and, while we congratulate him on his retirement, we will miss him and his friendly, positive personality!
