For over 50 years, Priefert Manufacturing has been fabricating steel products for the livestock handling industry and is now considered the premier name in rodeo and ranch equipment. Due, in-part, to the volume of shape and coil product that Priefert consumes, it was a natural transition for Priefert to begin expanding their manufacturing capabilities and product mix. This led to their development

of new markets outside the world of rodeo and ranch equipment. Pleasant, Texas are located right in the heart of East Texas. This is also home to the largest concentrated group of utility, gooseneck, truck bed and dump trailer manufacturers in the world. Priefert not only supplies steel products to the trailer industry, but also many other industries such as oil & gas, home construction, fabricators, original and after-market equipment manufacturers, and steel service centers. Priefert produces slit coil that is sold to stamping manufacturers.
