Sawgrass printed the shirt, then printed the tumbler, and never left the bench. DTF stops at fabric.

Every time a customer asks about a tumbler or a sign or a coaster, the answer is no, or the answer is another machine and another few thousand dollars.

Here the answer is a different paper. VersiFlex Light for cotton, sublimation paper for hard goods, same ink, same printer, about thirty seconds between the two.

With VersiFlex it’s not too late to get into the Halloween line, and that’s true in a way it usually isn’t.

Seven weeks out is normally the part where you’ve already committed. Designs locked in August, inventory ordered, whatever you guessed is what you’re selling. Miss the window and you’re waiting until next year.

Not here. Print one today. Print a second one this afternoon because the first one gave you a better idea. List them both and let October decide which was right.

The season hasn’t started. It’s just about to.

Sawgrass makes a holiday tee a Monday morning decision, which is a strange thing to be able to say.

This one didn’t exist on Friday. No supplier, no minimum, no six week lead time, no box of forty shirts in a spare room betting on a design nobody’s seen yet. Printed on VersiFlex Light, pressed, done before the coffee got cold.

Every shop has a folder of designs that missed their moment. That folder shouldn’t have to exist.

If you have a VersiFlex printer, you already own the machine that prints cotton. Same printer, same ink. The paper is what decides.

Load VersiFlex Light and you’re printing cotton tees. Load sublimation paper and that same printer is running stainless tumblers.

That is the part most people miss. Adding cotton to your shop is a paper decision, not a second printer and not a second workspace.

Sawgrass VersiFlex prints designs that vinyl physically cannot cut. Vinyl is a cutting process, so every color has to be a solid shape with a clean edge, then weeded by hand.

Gradients, photo detail, fine linework and soft drop shadows are not difficult in vinyl. They are impossible. A blend has no cut line to follow.

VersiFlex prints the whole design in one pass, then it presses onto cotton. No cutting, no weeding, no layering colors on top of each other.

Sawgrass VersiFlex and sublimation both put the design into the surface. There’s nothing sitting on top of the blank to lift, catch, or peel back at the edge.

A UV DTF wrap is a film applied to the outside. That’s fine on day one. The problem shows up in the care instructions you have to hand your customer, and in the message you get when an edge starts lifting three months in.

Halloween tumblers get used hard. They go in bags, in cupholders, through daily rotation for two months straight.

Do you send care instructions with your tumblers, or do you build them so you don’t have to?

Sawgrass gets you the embroidery look without a single stitch. No digitizing the file, no hooping, no swapping thread halfway through a run.

The texture is in the artwork, so it can do things thread can’t. Put it in a gradient. Put it on a tumbler, a coaster, a sign. Anywhere a hoop was never going to reach.
