The art of arrival, redesigned. ✨

SW+ partnered with The Charleston Place Hotel to redesign the main entry plaza and create a more welcoming arrival experience. The project relocated the drop-off and short-term parking from Market Street to Meeting Street and added shaded seating areas for hotel guests and pedestrians enjoying the surrounding shopping district. The result is a refreshed space that blends comfort, functionality, and Charleston charm.

As Survey Crew Chief, Kyle helps lead field operations through detailed data collection, property research, and equipment management. He brings hands-on surveying experience and a strong technical background, earning degrees from both Clemson University and Coastal Carolina University.

When he’s not in the field, you’ll probably find him trail riding dirt bikes or in the gym.

A new oasis in the heart of downtown Charleston 🌿✨

American Gardens, created in partnership with Beemok Hospitality Collection, transformed a historic Meeting Street site into a vibrant gathering space designed for connection, relaxation, and community with timeless European garden-inspired charm. SeamonWhiteside helped bring the vision to life through civil engineering, landscape architecture, permitting, and site design while navigating the unique requirements of a Special Protection Area in the City of Charleston.

Liam is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a degree in Sustainability and Coastal Resilience. He is a Surveying Field Technician I on our Charlotte land survey team and focuses on precision, accuracy, and producing work that meets high standards.

Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, playing disc golf, hiking, and exploring new places.

Honoring a legacy that continues to shape our community 🤍

We’re excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Kenny Mile Trail, a 1.25-mile multi-use path honoring our Founder, Kenny Seamon’s, legacy and years of dedication to the Town of Mount Pleasant community. Designed to better connect the community, the trail will expand access for pedestrians and cyclists across the area.

This is just the beginning of many community-focused trail projects to come in the Lowcountry, and we’re proud to be part of it!
