Roberts, we are a family-owned and operated wholesale distributor of quality industrial and commercial grade products. We are located in the beautiful town of Mount Olive, North Carolina, directly at the crossroads of highways 55 & 117. We mainly serve the industrial, agricultural, and automotive markets on both a wholesale and retail level. Originally, our company started as a small welding and f

abrication shop, but has developed over the years into a stocking distributorship for more than 75 highly respected, industry leading manufacturers. Although we continue to maintain a small fabrication section in our facility, our core business over the last 30 years has been wholesale product distribution. We purchase quality products, in bulk, direct from the manufacturers, and then distribute these products in smaller units to industrial customers, retail stores, commercial accounts and agri-business customers. This allows us to give our customers the best prices on the best products! In recent years, we have earned the business of many municipal and government agencies, and continue to grow into new industries needing the products we carry. We stock products from highly respected manufacturers including Goodyear, Ingersoll-Rand, Rust-Oleum, Alemite, Jason Industrial, DuraBilt Hoists, Pacer, Thermoid, Mi-TM, AMT Pumps and Spears, and much more! The best part you'll find about our business is our flexibility and dedication to customer service. If you need it and we don't have it, we will get it! If you have emergency needs outside of business hours, call! We are here to help and serve the community and customers around us that have made us what we are over the past 52 years.

Many of you have, for quite some time now, noticed, petted and played with ... an orange cat that hung out around our business. From what we can tell, this was a male cat that started showing up here when he was about one year old ... back in 2013. At that time, my dad was still coming to work every day... and took a liking to this young cat. Dad would sit at his desk at lunch time and hand scraps from his plate down to feed his new found buddy ... so I guess you could say they had lunch together everyday for years.

Because he was a male cat my dad referred to him as Tomcat ... and over the years since, we have affectionately referred to him as "Tommy." He always showed up when we were at work and when we left He would retire back to his quarters in our warehouse, back office or the building next door.

Throughout the years ... Tommy has had many brushes with death. He had two broken legs ... one finally resulting in an amputation making him the "three legged orange cat" that often got around better than most with four legs!

At one point, Tommy was also bitten by a poisonous snake and lost a large part of his neck. This took over a year to heal. He often looked hideous because of countless trips to the vet's office and the treatments that he was given required shaving. But he was nonetheless a loving and affectionate pet ... claimed by dad and various employees over the years ... and finally by me. Several customers have told us over the years that they would stop by and give Tommy treats and food when they saw him sitting outside our store waiting for employees to return to work.

In recent years Tommy developed an eye issue making it difficult for him to see out of one eye. I have probably spent more in medicine and vet bills on Tommy that I have many of the pets I have had throughout the years.

This year we estimated Tommy's age to be around 14 or 15 years old ... approximately 75 in human years.
I often spent many evenings at the office after our employees left, doing paperwork and Tommy would sit on the floor beside my chair (and try to use my leg as a scratching post!) or hop up in a chair next to me. I often viewed Tommy as the pet who picked us ...we did not pick him .... we were his people!

As Tommy aged ... his health has progressively declined .. and he said a final "goodbye" to us recently ... and made his way to "pet heaven"! For those of you who have remembered seeing the "three-legged orange cat" around our business over the years and have recently asked about him .... I wanted to share this post.

Tommy was a warm & always friendly little creature ... fearless from people and all other animals.
He never flinched when customers stopped by with their own pets, mostly dogs. He was an awesome bottle cap hockey player .... absolutely the best.
In the last few weeks, Tommy developed an infection in his mouth and gum, which made it necessary to remove a tooth. The infection, however, continued to affect his ability to eat and stay healthy....consequently, the stress was too much for his old body to take.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the countless employees we have had over the last 15 years who helped feed, water, love, play with and care for Tommy ... during his life with us. I also thank the customers who stopped in and enjoyed seeing and petting Tommy. And a very special "Thank You!" to Dr. Mark Sasser and everyone on his remarkable staff for the care, love and treatment they provided every time Tommy needed it.

As I said earlier... I always felt like Tommy chose us as "his people" instead of Him being picked as our pet ..... but, I'm certainly glad he did!

Wishing you a safe and enjoyable Independence Day weekend!

A few weeks ago, a new friend appeared at our doorstep around 5:00 p.m. begging for food. As most of you know, "Tommy" ... our resident tomcat for the last 15 years... is still patroling our warehouse and stockroom ... so at this time we are not in need of another "mouser"!
This fella is quite adorable ... extremely friendly ... and easy on the eyes! We are reasonably sure that he has been abandoned so we have been feeding him in the evenings but would love for some lucky family to take him home and provide him with a new abode to protect from mice and lizards! We have been calling him "Charlie" ... but we are confident he may receptive to a name change!
If you would like to give this handsome fella a home please send us a message and we can make arrangements for him to be picked up here at the store!
