2100 Pennsylvania Avenue brings a sense of movement to one of Washington, D.C.’s most prominent corridors. Its sweeping facade curves along the surrounding streets, giving the building its distinctive flowing form.
Across the exterior, glazed terracotta follows those curves between expansive sections of glass. Custom glazed terracotta, in champagne and grey tones create subtle contrast, while the fluted surface adds texture and catches the changing light throughout the day.
As the facade bends around corners and extends outward, the terracotta continues with it, carrying the horizontal lines across each transition and emphasizing the curved geometry that defines the building.
