Alpha’s Eastern Regional Office is housed in the Historic Cumberland Valley Railroad Depot in Martinsburg. Alpha’s award winning historic restoration project transformed this late 1800’s station into a modern, high tech design studio. The active train tracks border the Eastern Regional Office to the west and historic downtown Martinsburg is to the east.

Progress continues on the new Coopers Rock Pedestrian Bridge!

Just before the recent winter storm rolled in, crews successfully set the pier caps and girders in place. Once the weather clears, installation of the wood decking will begin—bringing us one step closer to completing this beautiful new addition to the overlook.

The old bridge at Coopers Rock has been safely removed and construction is progressing on the new bridge.

Support piers at Middle Rock were cast on 12/10 and have been curing comfortably, wrapped in heated blankets.

⛄Victor the Snowman has been keeping watch as crews begin cutting rock to make room for the new abutments.

The new aerial tram at Pipestem Resort State Park is officially open! Alpha Associates is proud to have provided the architectural and engineering services for this project, replacing the original tram after nearly 70 years of service.

Key features of the new system:
🚠 ADA-accessible gondolas for all visitors
🚲 Freight car to carry bikes, kayaks, and gear for outdoor adventures
💨 Designed to operate safely in winds up to 54 mph
📡 Equipped with a touchscreen control system for real-time monitoring and efficiency
🌲 A stunning ride into Bluestone Gorge, connecting directly to Mountain Creek Lodge
