CONGRATULATIONS TO JEFF KEY ON HIS 30TH ANNIVERSARY
On July 22, 2021, FCX Systems hosted a luncheon for Jeff Key, recognizing his 30th anniversary with the company. Jeff received a certificate and recognition for his long and dedicated service to FCX and our customers, along with a gift of appreciation.
Jeff is a veteran, and started his employment with FCX on July 22, 1991 after eight years of service in the United States Coast Guard.

Jeff started off at FCX in a very hands on manner, working in Production to manufacture power converters. This familiarity with our products provided a solid foundation as he added experience in FCX's Testing and QC Departments.

Jeff's direct knowledge of our products informs his current role in our Purchasing Department to source quality components, and is invaluable toward fulfilling our mission of providing the best power conversion equipment available to our customers.

We extend our best wishes to Jeff and thank him for his loyalty, diligence, and dedication to FCX Systems.

FCX Systems has an immediate opening for a Purchasing Agent with primary responsibilities as follows:

Request for Quote (RFQ), source quality materials, negotiate best price and lead time, generate and issue purchase orders, and qualify new vendor sources.

Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments via email or verbal discussion and must have a basic knowledge of computer, fax, and telephone system operations.

Other qualifications include: the ability to multitask, calculate figures and interpret various valuations such as percentage discounts and vendor terms, excellent negotiation skills, ability to compose and create routine reports and correspondences for both internal and external communication purposes, and must be a team player.
