Gibbons Motorsport South (Engine shop) was built out of necessity. The founder, Peter Gibbons started racing in the early 80's and began to build his own engines for his Saturday night racing ventures. As with every young racer, the budget was tight and by doing his own engine work he was able to add more races to his schedule. By winning with his own engines he proved to the competition that he h

ad the edge and Gibbons Motorsports South was born. After 30 years with many wins, many track championships and eventually a couple of National Championships Peter has hung up his helmet and is focusing completely on the engine business. Both of his sons have followed in his footsteps and are racing local dirt tracks as well as working in the engine shop. The newly constructed building is fully equipped to meet your engine cleaning, machining and assembling needs,. The new shop also houses a Superflow dyno, for breaking in and testing requirements.
