We’re excited to officially open our new Drilling Operations Center in Montpelier, Indiana.

With the completion of this new facility, Creek Run’s drilling operations have officially moved from Indianapolis to Montpelier. The new building was designed specifically to house our drilling equipment and support the crews who provide our environmental and geotechnical drilling services.

This move represents an important investment in the future of our drilling operations. Having a dedicated facility in Montpelier gives our team a centralized home for our equipment, crews, and day-to-day drilling operations as we continue to grow.

We’re proud of the work that went into making the Drilling Operations Center a reality and look forward to everything we’ll accomplish from our new home in Montpelier.

Our team was recently in Indianapolis, Indiana, performing a Phase II subsurface investigation.

This project brought together members of both our Indianapolis and Montpelier offices, working together in the field to collect important subsurface information to help move the project forward.

It's always great to see our teams from different offices working together out in the field.

On September 22, AEC’s Andrea Bostwick-Campbell and Ken Runkle, led the Jo Daviess County All Hazards Mitigation Planning Committee through its latest planning meeting.

The meeting covered several key pieces of the County’s updated Hazard Mitigation Plan, including:

• Reviewing the updated tornado vulnerability analysis
• Discussing the results of the Risk Priority Index exercise
• Identifying vulnerable assets and community-specific concerns
• Reviewing jurisdiction-specific mitigation actions
• Discussing how mitigation projects will be incorporated into the updated Plan
• Looking ahead to the upcoming public forum, plan adoption, and ongoing plan maintenance

Meetings like this help communities identify potential hazards, understand their vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies to reduce long-term risk.

Thank you to Jo Daviess County and the Planning Committee for continuing to work through this important process with our team.

At the Keystone Co-Op site in Lebanon, Indiana, Creek Run and AEC worked alongside project partners on a remedial injection project to deliver in-situ subsurface chemical treatment.

Remedial injection allows treatment chemicals to be introduced into the subsurface to address contamination where it’s found. Throughout this project, the team monitored conditions in the field and adjusted injection rates, pressures, and locations when site conditions required it.

UST compliance doesn’t stop after installation.

For UST owners in Indiana, monthly walkthrough inspections and other ongoing compliance requirements are part of properly operating and maintaining your system. These requirements, enforced by IDEM, include routine inspections, release detection, recordkeeping, and more.

Keeping up with these responsibilities can be challenging. Creek Run’s Monthly UST Compliance services can help keep your inspections and documentation on track while identifying potential issues before they become bigger problems.

Working through the heat takes more than just hard work; it takes preparation.

Our Creek Run team was out on site in some seriously hot conditions, but safety always comes first. Whether its staying hydrated and taking breaks or monitoring conditions and making adjustments when needed, we take extra steps to make sure our crews can do the job safely and the right way.

Taking Pride In What We Do! and taking care of the people who do it.
