Monticello Mercantile is the oldest continually operating business in Monticello. It had its beginnings as the Monticello Cooperative Mercantile in a log store in 1892. It changed ownership and locations a few times, and has been at its current location since 1956. General merchandise store specializing in hardware, tools, plumbing, electrical, paint, and sporting goods. We also have batteries, b

icycle supplies, toys, gifts, souvenirs, housewares, greeting cards, school and office supplies and a large selection of fabric. To top it all off, we have just installed a 2 acre bulk yard with items for sale by the yard from LavaMax Soil and Nutrimulch soil amendments, to decorative rock like white granite and black and red lava rock.!
