For 78 years, Brim Concrete has been proud to help build the communities we call home.

As temperatures climb, concrete behaves differently than many people expect.

🔥 Hot weather can cause:
✔️ Faster setting times
✔️ Quicker moisture loss
✔️ Increased risk of cracking if not placed and cured properly

A few tips for a successful summer pour:
💧 Have everything ready before the truck arrives.
🚚 Schedule pours earlier in the day when possible.
🚫 Avoid adding extra water to the mix at the jobsite. It can reduce the concrete's long-term strength.
🌤️ Begin curing as soon as finishing is complete to help prevent rapid moisture loss.
