Central Machine & Fabrication is currently seeking applicants for our front office & operations coordinator.
Title: Office & Operations Coordinator
Location: Montevallo, AL
Reports to: General Manager/Owner
Job Type: Full Time, Salaried
Hours: M-F 7:00am - 4:30pm
OFFICE
1. Answer incoming calls not directly related to a specific dept and directing those calls where they need to go.
2. Be the face of the company at front desk. Greet any walk in customers, vendors, suppliers or guests.
3. Purchase and manage any office equipment and supplies - Including maintenance contracts, repairs, etc.
4. Manage and maintain alarm, security, and office mechanical systems such as HVAC etc.
PURCHASING
1. Responsible for purchasing any and all shop, maintenance, and janitorial supplies for the company.
2. All raw materials, tooling, and consumables normally stocked for the shop.
JOBS
1. Order entry of jobs into the job tracking system.
2. Purchasing raw materials for specific jobs.
3. Working with vendors on lead times and pricing on incoming materials.
4. Write delivery tickets and set up local deliveries with company fleet and driver.
5. Calculate job costs and price jobs for management approval.
6. Enter PO’s and receipts for material purchases.
7. Accepting and/or requesting customer purchase orders and providing acknowledgment of such.
8. Work with shop manager, estimator, sales team, and general manager with customer service related tasks.
