The Story Behind the Bull “Sam”

Every logo has a story — ours just happens to have four legs and a whole lot of heart. 🐂

The bull in our logo isn’t just a symbol — his name is Sam, and he was John Hill’s childhood pet. Sam did everything with John — from helping with chores on the farm to playing in the yard and even learning a few tricks along the way.

When it came time to create J2K Manufacturing, the bull became more than a memory — he became our emblem of strength, loyalty, and grit.

The name J2K itself represents family:
• J for John — husband, father, and founder.
• 2K for Kathy and Katelynn — the two Ks that complete our story.

The bull honors John’s Ta**us spirit — strong, steady, and determined — while the Roman numeral II in the logo nods to the Gemini twins, symbolizing Kathy and Katelynn’s balance and unity.

Together, these symbols tell the story of family, strength, and precision — the core values that built J2K Manufacturing.
