Pay Rate: $24.00 - $25.00 / Hourly

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview:
PSS is hiring Field Service Engineers / Equipment Technicians for a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Chaska, MN. On-the-job training will be provided. We are looking for local, detail-oriented people with high mechanical aptitude and abilities (ie: working on cars, repairing machines, etc... and using hand tools/electric tools). You will be trained to service and repair, install, upgrade, and perform preventative maintenance on Semiconductor equipment. This is an entry-level position, and great for recent college grads, or anyone mechanically inclined looking to start a career in the Semiconductor Industry. This position offers unlimited opportunities for growth and career progression.

Responsibilities:
• Performs on-site service and repair, on-site installations, modifications, and upgrades of semiconductor processing equipment
• Troubleshoots equipment problems
• Maintains records and reports as required
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s), and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions
• Orders and installs parts
• Responds to emergency service calls as required
• Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
• Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
• Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc.
• Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s)
• Will use hand tools and other tools specific to our process, as needed
• Will perform all activities in conformance to established quality standards
• Must work closely with other production personnel and technical support people in a team environment

Qualifications:
• Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable fields of study
• 0+ year previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
• Excellent customer interface skills is required
• Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
• Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair, and/or installation of company equipment and company procedures are required

Physical Requirements:
• Job duties are often performed in confined areas, in awkward positions, and/or in high places.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required.
• May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing.
• May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.

PSS are hiring Preventative Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role will involve servicing and maintaining semiconductor capital equipment in a large-volume production factory. This is a regular full-time position and training will be provided.
The work week is comprised of compressed 12 hour shifts (4, 5, 6, 7 ) on a 3 day on - 4 day off/ 4 day on - 3 day off rotating basis. Both day and night shifts are possible with shift premiums as applicable.
Core Job Responsibilities
Complete all customer required training and maintain all certifications. Complete qualification on all PMT tasks and then perform all preventative maintenance tasks required with the highest quality and to schedule. Use all customer provided tools and systems to track tasks and equipment. Establish and maintain strong communication with the team and the customer at all times.
Position Requirements
Work experience in a mechanical/ electrical maintenance role or relevant educational background/military experience.
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and become proficient with customer systems.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently and with focus on quality and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documentation, such as work instructions and graphical aids.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, etc…, for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to work while wearing constrictive attire (cleanroom suits and personal protective gear), for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Must be open to working any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc...
Excellent time management skills are required.
