We are seeking a full-time Manual Machinist to join our team! You will operate a variety of machines and quality tools.

Responsibilities:

Setup and operate manual lathes, vertical mills, surface grinders, and ID/OD grinders.
Job setup and machining parts to tight tolerances.
Modify parts and materials to improve overall production.
Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments.

Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
Familiar with machine tools and equipment
Ability to comprehend complex prints, and work independently to complete projects as required.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail

Kuttler Machine, is a multi-faceted machine shop that serves several different industries has openings for experienced full-time Lathe and Vertical Mill machinists.

Successful applicant will be responsible for programming and machining parts to tight tolerances.

Must have the ability to comprehend complex prints, and work independently to complete projects as required.

Must have 3 years’ experience on CNC Lathe or CNC Vertical Mill, and experience on HAAS machines a plus.

Knowledge of G & M codes a must.

Proficiency in operation of quality tools required, such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.

Proficiency in the use of CAD/CAM programs, preferably Mastercam a plus.

Candidate must have the ability to work flexible schedule as needed.

Salary is commensurate with knowledge and experience.

Pay Range: $20 to $24/Hr commensurate with knowledge and experience.

We are seeking a Shop Foreperson to join our team at a growing company. The Shop Foreperson will supervise the employees and the jobs in our job shop area while coordinating efforts with quality control, operations and administrative managers.

Responsibilities:

Manage all manufacturing processes and achieve performance, safety, quality, on-time delivery, lead times, manufacturing costs, and housekeeping goals.
Coordinate the daily activities of our team of machinists
Scheduling of jobs and work centers for optimal efficiency
Adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures
Communicate employment needs and provide feedback on employee’s performance
Communicate training or coaching needs on behalf of the employees to HR
Enforce policies and procedures while following disciplinary action procedures
Work closely with other department to achieve overall plant objectives (ie Safety, Quality, Employee Development)
​Qualifications:

Previous experience of 5 years or more in machining or related fields, and should include manufacturing supervision.
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Knowledge of production tools and equipment
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize jobs
Effective time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
