We’re proud to announce that our Fibrebond employees raised over $6,000 for our third annual Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) fundraiser. With Fibrebond matching the donations and BCRF tripling the impact, our collective efforts significantly contribute to the fight against breast cancer. The generosity and support from our employees truly make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.

Fibrebond is excited to host local high school students as part of the NLEP North Louisiana Manufacturing Month! Last week, we welcomed Doyline High School. Today, students from Quitman High School toured the facilities. Over the next two weeks, Red River High School and BPSTIL will also visit our campus. North Louisiana Manufacturing Month begins TODAY! Each year, NLEP programs this event in partnership with the Manufacturers Managers Council of Northwest Louisiana to expose high school students and their teachers to modern manufacturing and the great careers available in the industry. This year, 24 NWLA manufacturers and 6 manufacturing-oriented training programs are offering tours to students from 10 school districts, bringing our total impact back to pre-COVID levels! Each participating student receives the event magazine, which profiles young people working in critical jobs for our regional manufacturers and points to relevant skill-building training to pursue after graduation. Pictured on the cover is one of the NWLA FAME students sponsored by Benteler Steel, showing that women are wanted and needed in manufacturing jobs.
