We are looking for a CNC Machinist/Operator to join our modern manufacturing job shop with modern equipment, challenging work, and a team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
· Read blueprints and work orders to fabricate parts according to customer requirements.
· Program and operate CNC lathes and mills.
· Inspect manufactured components made of metal and plastic.
· Perform quality control checks using gages, calipers, and other measuring devices.
· Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
· Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
· Safely operate grinders, sanders, and other hand tools to perform finish work as needed.
· Maintain, organize, manage, and clean equipment and work area.
· Maintain records, travelers, and paperwork for all jobs.
· Utilize personal protective equipment.
Requirements for CNC Machinist are:
· Self-motivated and works cooperatively with supervisor and other employees.
· Ability to learn new processes quickly.
· Attention to detail.
· Must be able to lift 50lbs.
· High school diploma or GED
· Machining degree preferred but not required.
