Our very own Safety Director, Blake Granier, recently had the opportunity to serve as a panelist at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Baton Rouge Education & Innovation Symposium.

Alongside fellow HSE and HR professionals, Blake shared his journey from starting out as a Safety Tech, relocating for opportunities, eventually moving back home, and later becoming the Safety Director at Catamaran Solutions.

The panel covered valuable topics for early career safety professionals, including the do’s and don’ts when starting out, building relationships in the field, and finding common ground with the craft workforce to become a true resource — not just “the safety guy.”

We’re proud to have Blake representing Catamaran Solutions and helping develop the next generation of safety leaders.

It’s always great to partner with companies that make safety a true priority and celebrate it across their entire organization. The day was filled with appreciation for employees and contractors, including boiled crawfish, jambalaya, and some great giveaways for everyone involved.
