During World War II my Grandfather Earl Jordan was a second shift foreman at International harvester while they were making munitions. He went to join the navy and was told he would be sent back after boot camp and so he stayed and did his part.
In 1942 while still working at International Harvester he founded Jordan Machinery corporation. His four sons, Byron, Armand, Allen and Douglas would join the business after each had a stint in the military. Eventually Grandchildren would also join the business.
Jordan Machinery will be closing it's doors for good in April after 80 plus years. For 80 years things we did touched all parts of Milwaukee from breweries to bakeries, deep tunnel projects and grain silos. Big or small we took them on.
In those years we were lucky enough to have some amazingly talented and hard working employees and to those people we say thank you.
We also had many loyal customers to whom we would also like to express gratitude.
Thank you.
