Customer needed a perforated plate replicated with bigger holes in a hurry, we had a new one designed and cut out in less than 20 minutes. Nothing faster than fly cutting on this thin material.

This is a custom system designed to check for cracks in airplane engine blocks! Our great customers over at Airworx commissioned us to build a system so they could dip the blocks in dye, then put them on a slowly rotating rack with a heater to dry them, then a tank to rinse at the end, ultimately to check for cracks in engine blocks before assembly. They knew this would be a challenge to create with no blueprint, just an idea. That is why they brought it to us, we never back down from a challenge!

Designed and fabricated completely in house by us, This system will allow them to dip, dry, and rinse multiple engine blocks at a time effectively increasing their work flow and efficiency.

Check out the videos in the post for a detailed look at the system running! We don't get to play with motors and gears often but it's always fun when we do! We love a good challenge!
