Alittle before and after of the dump body repairs on this Chevy. The body had multiple issues including rotted floor boards, 8 out of 10 cross members were rotted out and the side rails were previously patched and rotted as well. I cut everything apart and started fresh. Sheared and bent all new cross members and side rails, welded everything back together and topped it off with a fresh coat of paint and new floor boards.

Carlton stump grinder came in with a blown out bearing which ended up wiping out the shaft. Disassembled the machine to remove the shaft for repair. Once shaft was removed I was able to clean up the damaged area and build it up with weld in the rotary table. After the shaft was cooled off I set it up in the lathe for final machining and then put everything back together with new bearings. Machine was dropped off monday morning and left complete and ready for work the following afternoon.

Currently working on these custom aluminum covers to protect the fuel fill up and gauges on 2 generators. Both covers started off as flat sheets of aluminum. Everything was designed, cut, bent, and welded in house with the ability to flip up on hinges for access to the fuel fill and gauges. Few more small things to finish up and the covers will be ready for final install.

Been very busy at the shop so i haven't posted much. A few weeks ago I built this 8'x16' I-beam frame and delivered it to my customer. This main frame weldment is the 2nd prototype I've built for an automated bagging machine.
