Some winter views! Here’s a white oak I came across earlier today, with a significant frost crack. This tree is a perfect example of one ready to be harvested and taken out. Over time this crack will essentially rot the tree from the inside out. Great timing by this landowner to decide it’s time to come in and harvest this tree as well as a few select others throughout his farm.

What a fun way to wrap up a great year. Yesterday we took our employees out for a day of trap shooting at Airport Ridge Sporting Clays. Little way to show our appreciation for everything they’ve done this year. We hope everyone has a great and safe New Year.

After a few weeks of being down working on this project we are finally up and running our first couple logs through our brand new Debarker. It’s been a stressful project but going to be well worth the time and money for this upgrade!
