A note out there on filters from my personal race car.

Backstory: The car would start harder and go lean on any boost above 10psi. I logged fuel pressure and saw it dip. Knowing my injectors are clean, I replaced the fuel filter. This did not solve it.

Diagnosing pump area: findings were as shown in pictures. The fuel pump pre filter was clogged after 10k miles of e85

Relaxing summer night watching hockey outside and cleaning some Bosch 210s!

E85 is a great fuel to run, but those pesky corn pieces and sugary buildup can lead to flow inbalances. So feel free to take them out to test, flow, and clean them during your next service.

Calling all GDI users.

At the PRI trade show this year I had my eye on a few machines with various options. The main one is for servicing GDI (gasoline direct injection) on top of top fed, side fed, euro and motorcycle injectors

Let me know if the comments if you have a set you would like serviced so I can see the demand among you all.

Crazy weekend where we learned a lot about the importance of caring for the FIC 2150 injectors (Bosch 210 lbs).

After successfully unsticking them (prone) with a lot of force (customer supplied force) the cleaned up and flowed within an average of 1.8% across the total flow range.

Stubbornness and determination leads to growth and learning.

Cant wait to see the next project.

After a few months of not having a page I decided to create a page for fuel injector servicing.

With engineering experience in the fluidic valve area and years of experience with cars the idea of servicing fuel injectors came naturally.

Servicing includes before and after flow data optional with tables of variation at idle, mid rpm, high rpm ranges and accelerating ranges. Multiple data points show numerically the before and after results.
