Position: General Laborer / Laser Parts Sorter
Moline Welding, Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our team. This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity to learn and grow in a metal manufacturing shop.
What You’ll Do
• Assist with laser operations by unloading tables and sorting laser-cut parts
• Count, clean, deburr, and prepare parts for the next step
• Remove tabs when needed
• Tap or countersink parts as required
• Keep work areas clean and organized (around, under, and behind machines)
• Return tools and materials to proper storage
• Help with general shop duties such as cleaning, maintenance, and assembly
• Perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor
What We’re Looking For
• Willingness to learn and help where needed
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs all day
• Ability to do repetitive work all day
• Metal manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to read a tape measure is a plus
• Must be able to stay off your phone during working hours.
Work Schedule
• 4/10 work schedule Monday–Thursday
• 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute lunch and a 15-minute break
• Overtime may be required and is paid
Pay
• $20.00 per hour.
