Townes Site Engineering has worked with QTS on development of their Richmond Campus. Townes assisted QTS with redevelopment and retrofit of the former White Oak Semi-Conductor brownfield site. This included utility upgrades, stormwater management design, geotechnical and building inspections for the conversion of 1.3M SF of existing infrastructure to QTS Data Centers.

Townes is providing civil, geotechnical, environmental, and surveying services on development of the greenfield sites for QTS. Construction has recently begun on 1.5M SF of data centers, with the first building scheduled for delivery in 2023. Townes partnered with Sheehan Nagle Hartray Architects and kW Mission Critical Engineering on delivery of this project. To meet the aggressive delivery schedule, Townes managed the expedited Gold Fast Track with Henrico County Economic Development.

This site was designed to accommodate existing onsite environmental features and provides an exceptional outdoor amenity package.
