AI Engineers attended the NJDOT / ACEC-NJ 13th Annual Design Summit 2026 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe, NJ. It was an impactful gathering with more than 350 attendees from across the transportation and engineering community.

The summit featured discussions on roadway safety, dredging and resiliency, bridge maintenance, Design-Build initiatives, AI and 3D modeling technologies, FIFA World Cup preparation efforts, Right-of-Way challenges, and NJDOT’s emergency bridge response programs.

Special thanks to Parth Oza and the NJDOT / American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey teams for organizing another highly informative and valuable industry event.

AI Engineers attended the VTCA / VDOT 2026 Cost Estimation Summit in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It was a gathering of highway and transportation professionals from multiple states.

The summit featured discussions on probabilistic risk-based estimating, AI applications in transportation infrastructure, economic forecasting, project controls, and lessons learned from major DOT projects. Particularly impressive was VDOT’s leadership in advancing innovative estimating methodologies and the demonstration of its upcoming “AI Agent – Digital Teammate” initiative.

It was a great opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and connect with transportation leaders from VDOT, FHWA, multiple State DOTs, consultants, and industry professionals.

Yesterday, AI Engineers, Inc. attended the ACEC Annual Convention in Washington, D.C., a premier gathering for engineering leaders and policymakers. The convention featured USDOT FHWA Administrator Sean McMaster, along with former House T&I Chairs Peter DeFazio and Bill Shuster. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with the policymakers shaping the engineering and infrastructure sectors.

The sessions included in-depth discussions on current and future policies impacting infrastructure development, as well as breakout sessions focused on AI, technology, and innovation in engineering. Today, we are heading to Capitol Hill to meet with our Congressional delegation.
