Been quite busy here these last few weeks. We have been cleaning up logging jobs and starting a new one. Clean up is one of our most important responsibilities as we want to leave the job better than when we started. In between we have been busy supplying local businesses with wood for their needs.

Our custom built tumbler knocks off any loose debris and takes out all fine wood chips from the splitter, leaving the right amount of kindling wood with clean firewood.

Had some big helpers this week to get ready for our spring firewood sale. Getting the firewood tumbler ready is an all hands on deck task. Of course we had to play in the dozer as well. A lot of changes have happened over the past year here at CDS Firewood and Logging. We have most recently improved to safer and larger equipment to ensure our safety in the woods as well as making sure we can continue to bring more quality product to our customers. We are still delivering firewood to past customers and continue to accept new customers. In addition, we also have log length firewood available. As always we appreciate all your business and patronage and look forward to continuing to serve you.

CDS Firewood and Logging has wrapped up our most successful year in 2021 and look forward to continuing to serve you in 2022. As you may have noticed or experienced, the price of fuel, parts, food, materials, etc. has only increased in the past few months. With this increase, comes the time for us to make the decision to have to raise our firewood prices in order to keep our small business successful. When ordering your firewood, please call for current pricing. As always, if you’re looking for savings, we suggest getting your wood early and seasoning it yourself if you are able.
