While on summer vacation with my family to our great nation's capital we visited the World War II Memorial. Along the wall to enter are these sculptures and one of the tiles had welders represented! Have a safe 4th of July everyone!

Another fun day with two new groups of eager youngster that were ready to learn! Today was spent on our
VRTEX Transport+ simulator to give the students an idea of how to weld and then the second half we went to the shop and welded for real!

Doesn't get much cooler than this. This young man came in today and discovered he's got the can't wait to have him in my class in a couple years! He even switched classes with another student so he could weld all day today.

Our afternoon group for our Middle school summer Manufacturing Camp! It's awesome to see these young students walk in and go from nervous, no experience, and curious to confident and excited! Thanks again to for working with us!

Today the students are making the birdhouse that sells. It's a great project that's easy to put together and fun for people of all ages! Thanks for the great project!

Having fun at our Middle School Summer Manufacturing Camp! Students are using the VRTEX Transport+ to learn on the simulator then out to the shop!
One of the really cool things about the VRTEX is you can save and print the welds as you can see in the last picture. The students were able to gain some confidence before actually welding!"

Another year done... Always remember, when you walk through this door, that no matter who you are you're accepted! You'll win, you'll lose, you'll have good days ,and you'll have bad days. All that matters is that when you walk through this door you try! No matter where life takes you, you'll always be one of my students. Have a great summer and to my seniors, good luck!
