We are looking for a full-time Office Assistant. You must be fluent in English and Spanish. We are looking for someone with basic office skills, knowledge of Word, Excel, customer service skills, and a positive attitude. The job role is answering phones, filing, preparing proposals, ordering supplies and managing the owner’s schedule. Everyone at our small company is Hispanic so you must be fluent in Español. Must be self motivator and capable of handling multi-task assignments and day-to-day multi tasks job duties. You should have excellent communication skills, ability to compose letters, telephone demeanor, and filing knowledge. Previous secretary experience in small office preferred.
• Handle incoming calls. Take messages.
• Prepare and distribute data by email, fax, and mail.
• Check status of permits using the Internet (http://www.miamidade.gov)
• Prepare business proposals with the information provided by us (Excel).
• Photocopying.
• Keeping office neat.
This is a laid back job in a comfortable low traffic office. You will have your own desk and computer.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent PC skills. Must have great knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and be internet savvy.
