⚠️ 96% of mold growth begins undercover. Literally. When your boat is covered, particularly in the winter when moisture is trapped in the dark space underneath, mold, mildew and bacteria begin to grow. Even within short periods of time this can be the beginning of a problem that only appears later on. Prevention is inexpensive and won’t compromise the integrity of your boat’s interior. Even if you already use dehumidifier packets, coating your upholstery with protection can help guarantee your seats renew in mold-free. Don’t wait until it’s too late.

⚠️ Preventing mold and mildew is SO much easier and less expensive than trying to get rid of it, and it doesn’t threaten to damage your boats upholstery. This is not only a cleaner, conditioner and UV protectant, but a bleach-free mold and mildew blocker as well. Safe and effective on all marine vinyl, plastic and rubber trim.

⚠️ When you clean your boat on a regular basis, if you’re not using pH Neutral solutions, you’re leaving the gelcoat, upholstery, and every other surface vulnerable.

🧪 It’s basic chemistry. Acids and alkaline solutions are great for removing everything (including waxes, sealants and virtually every other form of protection) from your boat. Well-formulated pH neutral solutions with the right surfactants are excellent for cleaning 97% of stains including fish blood, bird and spider droppings, black streaks, red wine, etc. while leaving your protection intact. For oil, grease, and marine growth, acids or alkalines are a must, but should be neutralized afterwards and represented immediately.

PSA 📢 ⚠️ Most boaters strip their boat’s protection within the first 2-3 weeks after applying it without even knowing their boats are exposed. There’s no such thing as an “all-purpose” cleaner and the choice between a degreaser, acid or pH neutral cleaner can make the difference in whether or not your helping or harming your boat’s finish in the long run.

Acid strips stains, but will etch and eat away at your gelcoat.
Degreasers strip grime (AND) all your protection
pH Neutral Cleaners can handle most dirt and stains, and while not as powerful as the above two, they will not strip protection.
Oh, and bleach? You should never use it unless it’s an absolute last resort for removing mold or mildew. And above all else, always neutralize the surface and reprotect. 🤝
