We just finished this setup on a 2008 Ford F-350 with a UWS 45-gallon combo transfer tank and B&W cab protector.
The truck already had fifth-wheel rails in the bed, so clearance was tight. We measured everything out, worked around the existing hitch setup, and fabricated the mounting needed to get the tank and rack sitting where they belonged.
The finished result keeps the truck’s existing towing equipment intact while adding more fuel capacity and cab protection.
This is the kind of work we enjoy at Cliff’s — solving the fitment problems, making the pieces work together, and sending the truck back out ready to work.
Have an upgrade in mind but aren’t sure how it will fit with your current setup? Bring it by Cliff’s and we’ll take a look.
