Rieth Auto Stores roots date back to 1917 in Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio area. Always placing the customer needs as a top priority proved to be a successful business formula for over ninety years, and we're still going strong! We opened our location in Mesa, Arizona in 1988 with three employees and the core values that we learned over the many years of serving the people of Ohio. In 1994 we s

trengthened our position in the market by teaming up with the Carquest family of auto parts stores. This strategic alliance gave us the ability to compete with the national chain stores with tools like the "Carquest Coast-to-Coast Guarantee" and the "TechNet Professional Auto Service" dealer program. We currently reside in a 10,000 square foot facility, in the heart of Mesa, with over a million dollar parts inventory. We employee 40+ highly trained professionals and a fleet of 15 parts delivery trucks to better serve to people of Mesa. The future of our business is directly affected by the success of our employees, customers, and vendors. IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM RIETH AUTO!

Friends, Team Members, Customers and Vendors,

Rieth Auto has proudly served the Valley since 1988, but as with most things in life, change is imminent.

I have made the extremely difficult decision to sell Rieth Auto to NAPA Auto Parts.

The change in ownership will be effective September 1st, 2025.
The entire crew that you have come to trust will not change, only the name of the business.

NAPA is a great company that mirrors many of the same great values that Rieth Auto has developed over 37 years in business. They are very service oriented and have a long history of creating and maintaining long-lasting business partnerships. The NAPA name is synonymous with great people, quality auto parts and exceptional customer service.

The NAPA Auto Care shop banner program is trusted by consumers throughout North America and provides their independent repair facilities with many of the same great benefits that our Technet shops have enjoyed including Coast-to Coast Warranty and
purchases rebates.

We will be reaching out to everyone regarding specific details on how this change will affect you individually, but for now, it is business as usual.

There are no words to express my gratitude for the friendships that I have developed since starting this business. I could not have asked for a more loyal and trusting customer base, dedicated employees who have always treated Rieth Auto like it was their own and vendors that were always there to offer any necessary support to keep us successful. I will truly miss the daily personal interactions with all of you. I am confident that NAPA will continue and strengthen all the relationships that we have developed over the years.

We are forecast for EXTREME temperatures. BE PREPARED! Having car trouble in 110+ degree heat can be deadly! If you plan on driving out of the Valley you will encounter many miles of hot desert, steep climbs, infrequent services, and limited phone coverage. Bring extra water for you and your vehicle and make sure you fuel up and check your tires before beginning a long drive. It's also a good idea to pay attention to mile markers and exits so you know where to direct help for you or someone else in the event of an emergency. Be smart and be safe.

For the automotive shops we have a huge inventory of ac paks, r134a and 1234yf refrigerant, recovery/recycle machines in stock with same day set up and delivery and extremely knowledgeable parts professionals. If you are a DIYer and you need advice on the repair, we can help or refer you to one of our shops if the job is more than you want to tackle. A very sad week, two great people close to us lost their lives this past weekend. Bob Conner, a former Carquest store owner in Phoenix, passed away Sunday due to complications from heart surgery. Kyle Csader, a customer and good friend died in a motorcycle crash on Saturday. Our sympathies go out to both of their families, they will truly be missed.
