E-fence as been around for a while, but not all operators know how to use it. Gilbert, one of our operator trainers, takes us inside a Cat 330 Next Generation excavator with 2D E-fence and shows us how the cab avoidance feature works.

Cab avoidance allows operators to restrict the movement of the attachment and the cab, which eliminates the chance of a collision. This increases safety for both a new or an experienced operator.
